Working With Neurodiverse Talent and Crew on a Short Film Production | Spines: A Case Study. July 2023.

The BFI NETWORK asked us to write a case study on the production process of our film Spines. The film was the first BFI NETWORK film to be written/directed by and starring an autistic person. The case study was a great time to reflect on the experience and our own practices and see what we could learn as we continue to make accessible films. More needs to be done to facilitate people with accessibility needs working in the film industry and truly being an inclusive industry means rethinking some of the most hard-wired film practices.
